Article Processing Charges
Article Processing Charges
Albion Conferences operates on an open access model funded through an Article Processing Charge (APC) rather than reader subscriptions. This page sets out the current fee structure transparently.
Current fee
The Article Processing Charge is currently USD 15 per accepted paper. This is a placeholder rate reviewed periodically by the editorial office; any changes will be published on this page in advance of taking effect.
What the fee covers
- Editorial handling and coordination of the peer review process.
- DOI registration for the published paper.
- Issuance of the author certificate.
- Long-term digital archiving of the published record.
No submission fee
There is no fee to submit a manuscript for review. The APC is charged only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following peer review; authors of rejected manuscripts are never charged.
Fee waivers
Fee waivers are available on a case-by-case basis for corresponding authors affiliated with institutions in low-income countries who are unable to cover the APC. Requests should be directed to the editorial office at the time of submission, together with a brief statement of the circumstances, and will be assessed individually before any publication decision is influenced.
